Corie is a responsible, intelligent, practical girl. She drives an old Toyota, dresses conservatively, and is nine months into her job as a cop in Miami Beach. Then her boyfriend dumps her because she's boring and lacks passion, and the next day a lunatic points a gun at her head and tries to kill her. She shoots him first, but when her life flashes before her eyes there isn't much there to see. She decides to stop being boring and to see what fun life can bring.
