Michael's mother is tired of paying his bills just to hear him playing video games. Michael dropped out of college and moved back home. She tells Michael to get a job, and he must listen if he doesn't want to end up living on the streets. A popular bistro in town is hiring, so Michael applies. He gets the job, but then he gets a little more than expected. Michael is pulled into the past and becomes Sapphire, a woman from the early 1930s with no skills beyond her soulful voice.
