Résumé
People migrate to Germany out of a variety of different reasons. According to UN-conventions ratified by the German government as well as to the Basic Constitutional Law of the Federal Republic of Germany human rights are to be entitled to every human being - independently of his or her sex, race, religion or residence permit status. One fundamental part of the human rights is the right to health as a precondition for a life in dignity.
Contrary to international contracts today this right to health is being refused to people who live in Germany without stay permit. These "People without passport" do not have regular access to medical treatment. This anthology analyses the background as well as practical experience in this field and shows ways out of the systematical injustice. Among others emphasis is laid on the demonstration of existing conflicts as well as on possible ways for migrants without legal permit status in the case of disease.
Furthermore the book contains theoretical and practical strategies found in different German cities with structural approaches.
