Résumé

Sharon Joy Agnew was born in East London, South Africa, and was raised in a Christian home. She began writing poetry from early childhood and several of her poems were published in a local newspaper. At Primary School she was awarded first prize in South Africa for the best essay in a national competition. Many of her poems have been printed in various publications and she published a book called REFLECTIONS in 1990.
Following her education at Cambridge High School in East London and after several years in commerce, Sharon graduated from the Rosebank Bible College in Johannesburg.  She then went on to serve the Lord as a secretary at Rosebank Union Church and Rosebank Bible College, followed by 27 years as secretary and PA at The King's School, Robin Hills in Randburg. The poems in this anthology have been written over many years.
She desires that through her poetry, many will be blessed, encouraged and drawn closer to the Lord. Sharon has a gift with words. This delightful collection of eloquent and meaningful poems shines with descriptive anecdotes and vivid wordplay. Perfect for anyone who enjoys the beauty of language. Mrs Catherine Marais, (Educational Psychologist, The King's School Robin Hills)Once again Sharon Agnew's Christian poetry uplifts and delights us.
In a world of shifting values and uncertainty, she uses her gift with words to provide encouragement and hope for the future. Mrs Jenni Joubert, (Former Principal, The King's School Robin Hills)
