Résumé

Having meditated for over fifty years, I have developed greater insights into many aspects of the individual person and human society as a whole. These illuminating thoughts have come mainly whilst meditating or shortly afterwards. The inherent truth and value of these revelations prompted me to write them down. It is these revelations, accumulated over several decades, I would like to share with you.  So that you can know them now and not have to wait as long as I had to.
The sooner we are aware of these insights, the sooner we can develop as people and the human race as a species. The more knowledge we have, the better, more caring, more tolerant people we can become.  The better society we can create. By reading this book, with a reasonably open mind, you could upgrade your understanding of how to improve yourself and, through that knowledge, your contribution to society as a whole.
Leigh Boyton was born in Liverpool in1949.  He worked mostly as a Production Planner and Buyer in manufacturing industry. Amongst others, he worked for four different multi-national companies.  He also experienced four redundancies and long periods of unemployment as a result. Over about a twenty year period, he put most of his energy into volunteering for various charitable and community groups promoting natural environment, health, disability awareness and community empowerment.
He is now enjoying his retirement watching football, painting, playing Bridge and Mah Jong and going to the theatre. He has had highs, but many more lows in his life.  Good friends, supportive family and Transcendental Meditation (since 1973) have pulled him through those lows. He has been, metaphorically, knocked down many times but has got up again every time.  Each time coming back stronger and more resilient than before.
An ordinary man made to feel extraordinary by his life, his friends, his family and his practice of and devotion to Transcendental Meditation.
