Die gegenwärtig stattfindenden Prozesse der Digitalisierung haben als Kulturwandel auf die verschiedensten Bereiche des (Zusammen-)Lebens Einfluss. Der vorliegende Band geht der Frage nach, welche Bedeutung die Transformationen für Religion und Religiosität besitzen, und welche Reflexionsdesiderate sich vor diesem Hintergrund auch für die Praktische Theologie als wissenschaftliche Disziplin stellen.
Die hier publizierten Beiträge sind im Wesentlichen im Kontext eines mehrjährigen fachwissenschaftlichen, interdisziplinären Gesprächszusammenhangs entstanden. Sie thematisieren grundlagentheoretische Fragen sowie disziplin- und handlungsfeldbezogene Aspekte, zum Beispiel in homiletischem, poimenischem, kirchentheoretischem und religionspädagogischem Interesse.
