Medusa and Asterius form a fast friendship and quickly conclude that if society will not accept them, then they will create a new rival kingdom-a hierarchy capable of rivaling Olympus in its splendor.
Their plan is easier said than done. Asterius's attentions turn personal, and then romantic.
