Résumé

Matilda May had a pet goat named Tappy. Tappy followed Matilda everywhere. One evening when Matilda was on an errand for her mother, something startled Tappy, and she started running. Matilda chased her, trying to catch up to her. Before Matilda realized it, she was chasing Tappy through the forest. They were running farther away from home. She did not remember which road she had taken. The roads leading from the forest looked the same.
She would have to choose the right road back to her house. Would Matilda and Tappy make it back home safely? And, would special creatures come from out of the forest and show them the way?
