As a teenager, I devoured biographies, especially of musicians, doctors, researchers, explorers and writers.
So over the years I have been accompanied in many places by signs of life and signs of death. The journey of life brought me together with my wife, gave us 24 children (four of our own, 16 grandchildren and four children-in-law). At some point during this journey, this other journey, Manu's journey, the journey with death, came into being.
As if in a dark coffin, it lay in a dark drawer for many years. There is life in everything. Especially as it has travelled with death and experienced and seen all possible forms of life and death.
