Résumé

Most Americans' main source of wealth is their primary residence. However, we all live on income, not net worth. So how do we convert our primary residence into livable income for retirement? We can sell it, move, and invest the difference. We can take a home equity loan, invest it, and pay it off with business income. Finally, we can convert our master suite into a small apartment and rent the rest of our house. Do these all make you uncomfortable? They should.
Anything we want in life requires some form of stress or struggle. You can struggle by choice to get ahead or live your retirement in scarcity, lack, and fear. Which do you choose? Good Luck!
