Three magicians; an old man accompanied by a younger one, dark and mysterious, and a beautiful young woman arrive to befriend a smitten Jacob Torvals who has always yearned to learn their magic. FIELTENWhen disaster strikes the farming village of Fielten the Magicians escape with a seriously wounded Jacob and embark on a difficult and perilous journey through the wilderness to, as Jacob learns, their mythical city where he hopes to learn their secret arts.
