Résumé

A collection of three historical romance novels by Simone Beaudelaire, Diana Rubino & Lorna Read, now available in one volume!Beautiful Rose: Jilted by his loved one, Spanish landowner Don Vidal Salazar feels he no longer has a reason to live. On the run from her past, Vidal's secretary, Rosalind Carlisle, makes an offer he can't refuse - a night of resplendent passion. Heart free and ready to try again at love, Vidal offers Rosalind her heart's desire.
But can the couple find love in each other's arms - or will fate tear them apart forever?Crowned By Love: England, 1471. Adopted as an infant, Denys Woodville lives with her mother, Elizabeth: now queen and married to Edward IV. Denys makes numerous attempts to uncover her true lineage, but her efforts come to an abrupt end. To her ultimate degradation, Queen Elizabeth marries her off to the ambitious Valentine Starbury.
But as her feelings for Valentine bloom into love, she finally finds out who her family is... and the truth about her past. The Earl's Captive: September 1821. When Lucy's father announces that she must marry the ancient, grim-faced vicar, Lucy decides upon a desperate plan. She escapes across the moors, only to fall into the hands of notorious horse thieves and the cheating arms of their rough but charming leader.
She is forced to take part in their crimes, but when she tries to deceive Philip, son of the Earl of Darwell, Lucy meets her match. Now, Lucy has to win back her freedom while losing her heart to handsome, aloof Philip... who doesn't trust her an inch.
In the world of the written word, Simone Beaudelaire strives for technical excellence while advancing a worldview in which the sacred and the sensual blend into stories of people whose relationships are founded in faith, but are no less passionate for it. Unapologetically explicit, yet undeniably classy, Beaudelaire's 20+ novels aim to make readers think, cry, pray... and get a little hot and bothered. Diana's passion for history and travel has taken her to every setting of her historicals and paranormals.
The four-book Yorkist Saga and two time travels are set in England. The New York Saga spans the 20th century. A Bloody Good Cruise is set aboard an Italian cruise ship in the Mediterranean. Her urban fantasy Fakin' It won a Romantic Times Top Pick award. Diana owns an engineering business with her husband Chris and they make their home on Cape Cod, USA. A longtime member of Romance Writers of America, the Richard III Society, and the Aaron Burr Association, she joined the Surratt Society when researching A NECESSARY END. Lorna Read was born in Liverpool and started writing at the age of six, when she wrote her first song (words and music) and first poem (about her cat!).
When she was eleven, she wrote the first few chapters of a book featuring a Canadian lumberjack, which is still lurking in a battered old notebook. At school, she won several essay prizes and came second in an RSPCA essay competition. After gaining an Honours degree in English from Bangor University in North Wales, she moved to London and started work as an advertising copywriter, then spent several years as a rock music journalist whilst singing with her own band.
Next came a stint with IPC Magazines as editor of romantic story magazine, Loving. During her decade on the title, she regularly appeared on radio and TV as an agony aunt. Lorna now lives in West London. The Earl's Captive is her first title for Next Chapter and she is currently working on the follow-up, The Earl's Concubine.
