I have been fascinated by treasure stories all my life and dug deeper into these legends when I was a teenager.  I've spent many years of my life fossil hunting, metal detecting, gem mining and consider each item a treasure in itself. However like most of us I dream of someday finding a REAL lost treasure and being able to contribute to the historical record. I've followed stories of pirates, outlaws, Civil and Revolutionary War treasure, southern Plantation buried loot and other interesting stories of treasure.
