Andrei Vasiliu never expected anything extraordinary to happen in his quiet life. A simple man from Ia?i, Romania, he escapes the noise of the world whenever he can by retreating to his small cabin in the Carpathian Mountains. There, surrounded by forests, fresh air, and the simple joy of gathering wild mushrooms, life feels calm and real. But one misty morning in the woods, everything changes. After walking through a strange veil of fog, Andrei suddenly finds himself in a world that does not belong to his time.
The year is 2053. Cities are vast and silent, nature has almost disappeared, and every citizen hides behind a mask in a tightly controlled society. Lost in a future he does not understand, Andrei meets Lory, a mysterious young woman who risks everything to help him survive in this cold and unfamiliar world. As they struggle to escape a system that sees Andrei as a dangerous anomaly, the two discover something unexpected: hope, trust, and a bond strong enough to challenge time itself.
