Mail Order Bride: Bitter & Pregnant, An English Widow Heads Off to Her Cowboy Rancher In California - A stubborn and pregnant English widow makes the long journey to California in the hopes of safe haven for she and her child, and intent on not marrying her mail order fiancé because he is merely a means to an end. Her companions are a young married couple - the man is one that her husband saved before he fell into the ocean and drowned, so she has a hatred for him at first.
When they all arrive they are met by a far different man that the woman had come to know through a couple of letters, and she is quick to try and figure out, if she can, what on earth is happening. Mail Order Bride: Abused, Pregnant, & Still Married - A woman from Manchester manages to escape her abusive husband, just as she learns she's pregnant; and trying to get as far away as she can, becomes a mail order bride to a farmer called Josh, in California.
The trouble is - she cannot get up the nerve to tell him that she's pregnant, and still married. Mail Order Bride: John & Eleanor's Story - An upper class woman out for a night of adventure in London, is kidnapped and taken by ship, along with a lot of other women, to become mail order brides to a group of men waiting for them in New Orleans. Both sides think that the contracts have been entered into willingly and Eleanor plots what she can do, until she meets her intended, John Reno.
Mail Order Bride: Anna & The Doctor's Story, is a beautiful and emotional and sweet romance about a woman who is fired as a governess in England and decides to chuck it all in and emigrate to the American West as a mail order bride. Things take a turn for the worse during the events that follow, and after meeting a wonderful doctor on the voyage, she grows very fond of him.
