Résumé

Living with Gratitude is a road map of what to avoid (byways and detours) and what to pursue, discover, implement and encourage in oneself. Insights deride both from 40 years of listening as a family therapist and 92 years of living a challenging life, spanning life as a monk, years as a Catholic Navy Chaplain, surviving three life traumas but best, 53 years of an awesome married life. Four typical detours as well as twelve  highways are explained after an opening chapter in which the author counts his blessings.
The book is designed as an interactive experience which can be used in a class or group, with discussion questions for review, or something to be shared as a couple or familyFour typical detours we naturally travel, are described with many examples. These are followed by twelve highways of healing and personal growth, each to be learned and mastered. These conclude with tips and examples of living with amazement and finding new light in darkness with many personal examples .
Living with this awareness and commitment encourages and enhances the ability to live more fully in the present with gratitude and amazement. It is a journey of self-discovery, awareness, healing and personal growth. Readers will find insights they will want to share. Promise" After reading this book, readers will not be able for long to take their finger off the right side of the scale, to honor , recognize and celebrate blessings. Dr.
