Résumé
Across the United States of America, four groups of travellers are moving around, each on their own specific business - be it a school experiment, a reunion, running from a haunted past or an incentive to create on-the-go journalism. As the four groups wind through adventure, mishaps and romance, a sudden storm forces them to make an abrupt stop at a motel. The owner - an eccentric person with a short temper - accommodates them while giving an ominous warning.
Hours later, more strangers arrive, some of whom seem to have shadowy agendas. As the night unfolds and everyone is at the storm's mercy, brewing arguments reach a boiling point, some dark motives come to light, and a sinister secret terrifies those who reveal it, reshaping the motel into a theatre of war and survival. In another part of the state, the police led by Special Agent Leder, are racing against time to catch a serial killer who is evolving into an uncontrollable menace.
What is worse: the ravaging storm or the malignant people? And who will survive - the good, the bad or those in between?
