Sous l'égide de ce maître, nous nous mettons à l'écoute de l'Évangile selon saint Matthieu au travers d'un parcours divisé en trois parties : chapitres 1-7, 8-18 et 19-28, correspondant chacun à un volume.
Chaque fois, un commentaire de saint Augustin, expliqué par l'auteur, éclaire un passage clé de l'Évangile, afin de guider le lecteur vers son sens spirituel et de le conduire à l'intériorisation et au partage communautaire.
