La Llorona: A Space Tragedy

For wealth and beauty, she sacrificed on an ancient evil Mayan god altar. For a while, she had her paradise as a kept woman of a wealthy man and Mother of two children on the industrial rogue planet of Cuauhtémoc. The curse takes what it had given. The cursed young woman goes into an insane fit of jealously against her lover, all the while having to deal with the monster she released from the altar.
She snaps. People are led to believe she murders her children in a jealous fit of rage against her lover. But, this isn't the case. In death, the cursed young woman becomes the dangerously murderous mythological creature named La Llorona, 'wailing woman.' Children and men beware of rivers as the suns sets and darkness reigns.
