It sort of resembled a medical exam table, except it was made of wood instead of metal and was heavily padded with leather cushions for comfort. There were leather straps designed to hold down the occupant, if needed, but Kathleen knew those wouldn't be necessary tonight. Standing in front of the table Sue called those in attendance to order-a few had to be encouraged to leave their drinks at the bar on the far side of the room-and made a semi-circle facing her.
Kathleen had put on her wedding dress and was waiting at the table with Sue. At the signal Thom was brought into the room and paraded through the crowd.
