Résumé

The moon is coming up late - and Tilda is the only one who's counted the days. When ten-year-old Tilda insists the moon is dying, her sisters don't believe her. Gena wants proof. Mira wants answers. But an old storybook found in their grandmother's trunk, and a hermit who has lived by the river longer than anyone can explain, will lead the three sisters into the biggest promise of their young lives.
To save the moon, they'll have to save something closer to home first - a river choked with neglect, two families too proud to speak, a valley slowly forgetting how to take care of itself. Along the way, they'll make mistakes that cost them dearly, face a night of pure terror when the sky itself seems to go dark, and learn the hardest lesson of all: that some things can only be mended a little at a time, by someone who simply decided to start.
Keeper of the Low Light is a gentle, deeply moving story about three sisters, the mysterious man who teaches them to notice what others overlook, and the quiet, patient work of tending what's within reach - for readers of every age who still believe a small act of care can hold back the dark.
