Dad subsequently wrote two books about Alexa, "Hey Alexa! Create me my own personal musical paradise." and "About Alexa! Tell me how! Folks, even after he wrote the second book, we still did not know how smart Amazon's Alexa really was until one day dad and mom actually asked her to do something for the first time."Alexa, Play songs by Katie Kelly." Alexa responded with the most beautiful songs one could ever imagine.
They were all super great and I don't like expletives. I had heard all of these Katie songs before at Katie's several album release gigs, but the background noise of the venue and the festive atmosphere precluded my full appreciation. Nothing was as sweet as taking the time to listen as Alexa delivered music that brought tears to the eyes of Pat and I. It was just the other day. She has been singing great songs since high school.
We finally took the time to really listen, enjoy, and wow! That is our daughter. She is a great singer, a great musician, a great songwriter, and a great music producer. I still can't figure out where that violin came from. But Kate knew exactly where it should go. So this book #2 about the songs that Katie writes and sings and the albums she produces is just a little different than the first book.
When we heard Alexa play Dream a Little Dream by saying Alexa "play Dream a Little Dream of Me", by Katie Kelly. We were astonished. It is as close to the Cass Elliott version that I have ever heard. You'll love it. Please enjoy this 2nd book about our daughter, Katie Kelly about whom we are so proud. God sure gave us a precious bundle from heaven and she still is.
