Together, they try to survive from enemies on all fronts. The sick, known to Zack and Jimmy as lurkers, are only a small part of the battle that they must fight.
Hunting, scavenging, and protecting their family keeps them occupied until a stranger shows up while they are gone. That sets off a chain of events that reveals a conspiracy no one suspected. Survival in a collapsed world is hard enough. Lurkers don't make it easier.
