Résumé

Jokes from the Foggy Moore is a collection of darkly playful, eerie, and unsettling humor that tiptoes the line between comedy and horror.  These aren't jokes meant to make you laugh out loud in a crowded room. They're the kind that make you smile. then glance over your shoulder. At first, everything seems harmless enough: punchlines, one-liners, and twisted little bits of humor drawn from graveyards, shadows, and things that probably shouldn't be smiling.
But as the pages turn, the jokes grow stranger, the laughter softer, and the fog thicker. This book offers a false sense of comfort-light, playful, and easy to read-before gently (and sometimes not so gently) leading you somewhere darker. When you close the book, the jokes may stop. but the whispers might not. Perfect for fans of horror comedy, dark humor, and readers who enjoy being unsettled just enough to laugh.
Enter the Foggy Moore.  Just don't expect to leave completely alone.
Matthew Moore is a Toronto-based author known for his darkly imaginative storytelling and psychological depth.  His works explore the fragile boundaries between reality and illusion, guilt and redemption, the living and the dead.  His debut novel, Runway To Nowhere, introduced readers to his signature blend of suspense and emotional tension, followed by The Ghost of the Wolf With Blood Eyes, a haunting tale of memory and vengeance.
His forthcoming novel, The Twisted Tale of Tara Tooner delves into the supernatural and psychological horrors that linger within family secrets and haunted spaces.  Moore's writing has that cinematic imagery, poetic language  and the ability to evoke fear with empathy. When he isn't writing, he can be found exploring old architecture during his travels, studying folklore, or sketching new story ideas inspired by eerie beauty of forgotten places
