With over 30 years of international experience, including 12 years in management consulting in PwC and IBM and 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry with Novo Nordisk. He has led major global IT programmes in infrastructure, cloud, security, and data management.
He specialises in transforming complex IT landscapes into simplified, value-driven ecosystems and managing the change impact on people, processes and technology. As founder of ITOBOK, he brings together business and technology leaders to share practical knowledge on IT optimisation and driving continuous improvement using a standard framework. Simon Bowles is a senior technology leader with more than 40 years of experience.
During his career, including extensive leadership roles at Novo Nordisk, he has helped define enterprise IT operating models, develop infrastructure and cloud strategies, lead complex due diligence, integration and carve-out programmes, and deliver transformational initiatives across global, highly regulated environments. His experience has provided deep insight into how technology landscapes evolve over time and the governance, organisational structures, and financial disciplines required to manage complexity, cost, risk, and business value effectively.
