Résumé

Irish Washerwoman is a famous traditional tune in the Folk Genre. Visit any Irish Pub around the world and you are likely to hear this tune during the evening. This book will guide you through the process of playing and understanding this great piece of music on the guitar. Like any well constructed piece of music, it is open to many interpretations, so feel free to adapt it for any ensemble or style you choose to play in.
I recommend you learn at least two other Irish Folk Tunes and play them as a medley. Look at my ebooks for a selection of these great tunes arranged for guitar. There are many great examples of the piece on YouTube. Go to www.youtube.com and do a search for: Andre Rieu, The Dubliners, The Irish Drovers or The Chieftains.
