Résumé

READERS LOVE RACHEL PARRIS' EXCEPTIONAL STORYTELLING!'I enjoyed it immensely.' Reader review, ?????'The romance is wonderful' Reader review, ?????'If I could give it six stars I would' Reader review, ?????'Parris has done a stellar job of keeping the same beautiful tone, humour and deep insight as was in Pride and Prejudice. I enjoyed it JUST as much!' Reader review, ?????'This book has made me fall in love with the world of Jane Austen all over again!' Reader review, ?????Charlotte Collins knows her own mind.
But will she dare listen to her heart?Unlike her good friend Elizabeth Bennet, Charlotte Lucas has never been a romantic. Practical to a fault, she accepted Mr Collins's marriage proposal with clear eyes and a steady heart, trading passion for security. Until an unexpected guest at Rosings Park turns Charlotte's ordered world on its head. This man sees her, challenges her - and a spark is lit. But true contentment is not only about who you choose to love, but who you choose to be.
Is it time to break the rules that have kept Charlotte on the sidelines of her own life?'Funny and deeply romantic' Richard Curtis'The perfect Austen fix. Delightful, beguiling and accomplished!' Janice Hallett'Funny, heartbreaking and very satisfying' Sarra Manning'Clever and interesting' The Sun'Delightful' Good Housekeeping'A witty debut' Woman & Home'Beautifully done, full of drama, with a delectable Regency setting as a backdrop' Daily Mail'Delightfully witty' Woman's Weekly'Jane would be very amused indeed' Cariad Lloyd'Genuinely funny and moving' Alice Winn'A tale of love, loss and second chances' CultureflyAn enchanting, thoughtful story' Platinum'The feminist Jane Austen reimagining you didn't know you needed! Laura Bates'A brilliant imagining of Pride and Prejudice's other heroine.
Hugely recommended' Andrew Hunter Murray'Heartfelt and mesmerising' Stylist
