Twenty-one poems written live on Twitch on March 24, 2026, in a single unbroken session of three hours and twelve minutes. No drafts. No revision in the moment. Thought becoming language becoming poem before a live audience. Into the Red Light opens on the cosmic - what little specks we are, circling this bare rock - and closes on the incantation.
Between those two poles the session moves through mythology, memory, history, the soldier's homecoming, and the slow erosion of the written word. A man thinking at full scale, from Prometheus to the screen replacing the love letter. Erik M. Bonthron writes as MortusBard, a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division and a poet working in North Carolina. His work draws from the witness obligation - the understanding that some things must be said because they happened.
