Résumé

Graphic violence - 17+From the Tales of Horror series, we find a worn out EMT just doing his job... Excerpt:As Marcus had approached the drivers' side of the car he could see that the driver was hunched over leaning towards the passenger side of the car with one arm draped over the steering wheel. Reaching his own arm into through the window of the car to check the drivers' vitals he had heard a horrible sound of creaking metal and instinctively snatched his hand back from the car just as the front end slid about a foot further into the building.
Several bricks fell and bounced off the car as the creaking continued. The drivers' compartment was hanging in open space just inside the building. It had been too dark for Marcus to see what was below or how far it had even been. He had to try to get the driver out of the car before it slid further in. He had known that he needed to hurry too because he could still here shouting and screaming coming from inside the building.
Bricks started falling more frequently. A collapse seemed imminent. With one foot balanced precariously on a ledge and the other dangling in space he reached out for the car door. For the rest of his life, what happened next would play over and over again.
