In The Chill Of Texas. Toombs Sullivan, #2

In The Chill Of Texas continues the story of Toombs Sullivan. He was transferred to Dallas where he joined the Ranger company there in the search for a gang of stagecoach and bank robbers. He meets a woman who has come to Texas to join her husband at a ranch he bought, but he is missing. Sullivan tried to help find him, but encounters a band of Comanches. When the woman disappears, he thought she had been captured by them, but it was really the outlaw gang. The Indians did kill his friend Any Friday, but do not have the woman.
The Rangers are finally able to track down the gang.
