Poultry diseases infect various categories of domestic or intensively farmed poultry. During their lifetime, poultry can be infected with many infectious, contagious and often fatal diseases. Avian diseases appear suddenly, spread quickly and are difficult to control, particularly viral or combined diseases. Often these pathologies have harmful repercussions on the national, regional or even national economy.

Our main objective is the description, identification and analysis of the impact of the main avian diseases on the economy from a technical and socio-economic point of view in order to find a rational explanation of an obvious correlation between these diseases and the price to pay to deal with the financial damage caused to humans, animals and health and industrial infrastructures.
