Résumé

She always dreamed of writing a book as a little girl. Subconsciously, she knew it was going to be about her and what she observed throughout her journey. She began writing her story at the age of 13, but of course, all her pages were lost in her traveling from East Coast to the West Coast. After many experiences, wrong turns, and dead ends, she suppressed all the memories and pain deep inside of her, never really facing her trauma.
She just kept pushing forward. When she hit rock bottom, she found sobriety and applied all of herself to that recovery program. She was simply in survivor mode; she had never looked back, but eventually, she began experiencing haunting with monsters holding her hostage with her past. She was devastated to learn the war had just begun. She knew she had to reopen all of her wounds and allow them to bleed out.
She had to face and fight her demons, forgive herself, and then she could begin to heal. With many discoveries, she had shone light unto the most hidden dark places of herself. This process was equal to walking on fire. She felt thoroughly cleansed mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. She will honestly say the second walk of her past was excruciating and elevating at the same time.
