I Thought I Died

This thing we call life is not a straight and narrow line.  It's not the shortest straight line segment that leads us from one point to another. Rather it's a crooked path, that twists and turns, that goes up hills and down hills, across swift waters, and meanders through peaceful meadows, and all the time with dangers, and rewards along the way.  We sometimes take one step forward and a couple of steps back trying to get it right.  Eventually, we get there, from the cradle to the grave, with just a few scratches and scars from the experiences of the walk. This book is a almost biographical look at the life of the author.

Ray's thirteen year tenure at the largest high school in Alabama led to innovative tricks that he applied such as, his being one-sixteenth Black and another on overnight becoming muscle bound These stories are mostly funny with deep overtones of seriousness.  This may be Ray's best book yet!
