I Am Suspect

Alba leads a quiet and routine life, accustomed to every day being the same with nothing disrupting her daily routine. Everything changes one morning when an inspector approaches her on the street to ask some questions that seemingly have nothing to do with her and whose answers she doubts will be of much use. Inspector Blanco is cold, methodical, and stubborn. Following her instinct, she approaches Alba believing that, although the young woman was merely in the wrong place at the wrong time, she might help uncover something that could blow the lid off and lead to the capture of a drug trafficking gang. Puzzled by what happened, Alba mentions it to her friend Lola, who helps her recall something she had overlooked but could be relevant to the investigation.
Finding the inspector again proves challenging for Alba, and when she finally does, she realizes that what initially seemed like routine questions unrelated to her now directly involve her by associating her with a known criminal. Alba desperately tries to prove she knows nothing to an relentless inspector who seems to hate her. This continues until Alba's life is endangered, and what were once looks of indifference from the inspector give way to a different kind of gaze.
Inspector Blanco watches as the young woman gradually breaks down her walls, becoming more than just a piece of an investigation to her.
