It is the secret place - between you and your Maker. In that place, wood does not become fuel for volcanic anger.
In that place, fear loses its voice and faith finds its tongue. I learned this the hard way. That material things cannot go with us. That people will forget what you did, but remember what you didn't. That some battles are won on your knees before they are won in the marketplace. So I chose to build an altar. Not of stone, but of surrender. Not of sacrifice, but of silence. Not of religion, but of relationship.
This book was born in that altar. When you pray, you declare war on defeat. When you meditate, you invite heaven to download strategy.
