Résumé

Hydroponics and aquaponics are two methods of growing plants without soil, which are becoming increasingly popular as people look for more sustainable and efficient ways to produce food. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants in a nutrient-rich water solution, rather than in soil. The plants are typically grown in containers, which are filled with a growing medium like perlite, vermiculite, or coconut coir, and then placed in a solution of water and nutrient solution.
The nutrient solution is carefully balanced to provide the plants with all the necessary nutrients for growth. Hydroponics can be used to grow a wide range of plants, from leafy greens and herbs to fruits and vegetables. Aquaponics, on the other hand, is a combination of aquaculture (the farming of fish) and hydroponics. In an aquaponic system, fish are raised in a tank, and the waste produced by the fish is converted by bacteria into nutrients that are then used to fertilize the plants.
The plants, in turn, filter the water and return it to the fish tank, creating a closed-loop system. Aquaponics is a highly sustainable method of growing food, as it requires very little water and no chemical fertilizers. It can also be used to grow a wide range of plants and fish. Both hydroponics and aquaponics offer a number of benefits over traditional soil-based agriculture. They require less water, fertilizer, and space, and can be grown year-round in controlled environments.
They also produce higher yields and are less susceptible to pests and diseases. Additionally, they can be used to grow food in areas where soil quality is poor, such as in urban environments or in areas affected by drought or desertification.

Biographie de BHAGATH SINGH

My name is Bhagat Singh, I m. After doing Sc, I worked in Horticulture University for 9 years, practical work was done on horticulture crops vegetable, fruits crops and many studies were done on them by our senior scientist and many articles, pamphlets and books were written. That is the source of my life, I consider it a great experience and luck. But my aim is to sensitize people through my book, that's why I want to introduce my experience in the form of a book, the current problem facing urban and city areas, food shortage, ecological balance and pollution, spraying high doses of insecticides on fruits and vegetables found in the market and selling them.
It is not necessary to eat for food needs, because of which many health problems and diseases like cancer are coming. So to live a healthy life, if you make a habit of using organically grown fruits and vegetables as a home crop, you can get health along with a good environment.  Greens, vegetables and fruits can be cultivated in various methods through hydroponic and aquaponic at low cost, similar to how kitchen gardening and roof gardening are cultivated in urban farming.
This is our first edition, the main purpose of this book is to provide nutrients methods without soil and only water and can grow greens, vegetables and fruits at home through various methods. Hope this is useful for everyone.
