Flashes of memory had been haunting her for months, and sleepless nights stacked up one after another. Only when total exhaustion took over could she fall asleep. With K-9 partner in crime Robo at her side Mattie rushes to the junior high, finding the distressed parents of Candace Banks waiting for her.
