Humbug Hang Up

Of all the things I expect to get from my son's mom for Christmas, the offer to play matchmaker doesn't even make the list. She and I have always made great friends and co-parents, but trusting her to pick my soulmate seems like a lot. But I can't say no once she recruits our son to persuade me to go on the blind date she sets up. Shannon's convinced the new yoga instructor in town is perfect for me.
Celeste charms even our son, Tripp, and he's a moody tweenager at the best of times. They're so determined that I need to meet this woman that I can't help it. I'm intrigued. When I glimpse her leading a class at the gym I go to, I'm captivated. Our first date was perfect. As soon as I called her for a second date, Celeste nailed me with a "Bah Humbug" hang up. Turns out she didn't realize I was her new friend's ex.
Not sure why that's a problem. Now I'm challenged. I'm gonna figure out why Celeste looks at me like I'm a naughty elf playing tricks and show her I can be the Santa of her dreams. Then, I'm gonna convince her to be my Mrs. Claus. Because bottom line, Shannon and Tripp are right. Celeste's perfect for me. And me? I'm hers.
