Résumé

Maya had accepted Jim Tonkin's offer to join the herd at Nuakea Farms. She would be turned into a human cow, or hucow for short, to produce milk for the needs of the rest of the population. After her first round of treatments, Maya begins to learn some of the difficulties and some of the pleasures of being a hucow. Her new friends in the herd, Dana and Lisa-Marie, will be only too happy to show her the ropes, and help her on the way to expressing her first drops of milk.
