No matter what issue you are trying to bring attention to - Wrongful Terminations from the Workplace, False Imprisonment, Racial Profiling, Police Brutality, etc. --you can set up Legal Defense Funds to fight back. The bottom line is tons of employees are wrongfully terminated from the workplace or falsely imprisoned all the time. As a community organizer, advocate and humanitarian, I was successful in setting up a Legal Defense Fund for myself when I became a nationally recognized whistleblower "The Cathy Harris Story."I have also worked on several campaigns to help release innocent prisoners especially the Nino Lyons case out of Florida in which we were successful in freeing him from jail after 3 years when his case was thrown out for prosecutorial misconduct.
He was awarded $140, 000 in March of 2012. Getting justice by setting up Legal Defense Funds can work as proven by the two cases above, however, it will not be an overnight victory. My advice is to gain balance in your life and take the steps in this article.
