Résumé

How to Horse is part of a series that will cover what you need to know when you decide to start riding, the what to look for in stable yards to instructors. in this part we will cover general paddock set ups, required tack, choices in horses you will need to look at, what you need to know about feed and general care of your new horse.
I have been riding and involved in the horse industry for over 40 years. this has come with a lot of sacrifice, tears, heart ache, joy fun and life defining moments. As a child and Junior rider I competed at the top levels of the game as a show jumper, Adult or open levels the school of hard knocks taught me horses were my best friend and Phycologist rolled into one. Following a hectic marriage I decided my children needed the stability of horses and I started teaching them, today after all the drama I am happy to say due to these wonderful animals I have happy well adjusted children who along the way have grown to learn horses gave them determination, grit, understanding that life is not fair but put their chins up and smile.
they have learnt that you cannot always be on the down side somewhere it starts going up. Here we are today chins high and keeping our eyes focused.
