Aurora Rey grew up in a small town in south Louisiana, daydreaming about New England. She keeps a special place in her heart for the South, especially the food and the ways women are raised to be strong, even if they're taught not to show it. After a brief dalliance with biochemistry, she completed both a B. A. and an M. A. in English. When she's not writing or at her day job in higher education, she moonlights as a baker and is slightly addicted to Pinterest.
She loves to cook and dreams of a big farmhouse in the country with a garden and some goats. She lives in Ithaca, New York, with her partner and two dogs. Elle Spencer is the author of Forget Her Not and Casting Lacey. She is a hopeless romantic and firm believer in true love, although she knows the path to happily ever after is rarely an easy one-not for Elle and not for her characters. Before jumping off a cliff to write full time, Elle ran an online store and worked as a massage therapist.
Her wife is especially grateful for the second one. When she's not writing, Elle loves a good home improvement project and reading lots (and lots) of lesfic. Elle and her wife split their time between Utah and California, ensuring that at any given time they are either too hot or too cold. Erin Zak hails from Colorado where she grew up in a small town of 2500 people. She was a great athlete and even better student, maintaining a phenomenal grade point average while being involved with every club and activity she could.
Zak started writing at a young age, letting her mind wander whenever she had a spare moment. It wasn't until high school when she really started to dig into writing full-length stories, only allowing her closest friends to read them. Zak made her way to Indiana where she studied communications for her undergraduate degree at Purdue University. Eventually, she went back to get a master's degree in business administration.
She put her passion aside while she started a career in higher education in the admissions office, helping students find their own passion. Now living in Tampa, Florida, close to the Gulf of Mexico, Zak helps run a small landscaping company. She hopes one day it will allow her to work solely on her writing. Her wife and stepdaughter also live in Florida, along with their family cocker spaniel. Zak enjoys films, especially science fiction and romance, and also loves cooking when time allows.
