When I began homeschooling my children years ago, I didn't have a map. I didn't know anyone who homeschooled or have any experience teaching professionally. We navigated neurodivergence, curriculum choices, socialisation, illness and a pandemic. I am immensely proud of my achievement, but I still remember that anxious start and the fear that I would fail my wonderful children. I wrote this book because over the years as I have grown in confidence and knowledge, I have met many new homeschoolers who often tend to follow the same confused, anxious, stressful pattern I did.

There is information on how to begin your homeschool journey with a feeling of confidence and peace. I have given direction on record keeping so you can be self-assured without the stress. There are as many different ways to homeschool as there are homeschoolers. This book is not about 'the right way' but will help you develop your own style and methods of homeschooling that will suit your lifestyle and family.
