Lyndsay Barnes began a new life when she moved to Dickens a year ago. She's formed a strong bond with Shawn Murphy, volunteering at the Dickens Children's Group Home. The town has given him until the end of December to finish the exterior repairs, or it will be demolished. Unfortunately, he does not have enough money to complete the repairs before the deadline.
