Résumé

In a contemporary version of Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice', Will Dawson heads to Rainbow Beach in Queensland, Australia, for the Christmas period, aiming to work in his aunt's cafe, catch a few waves and soak up the good karma of the area as a break from his university studies.  Then he runs into Beth Bennett, her sisters Lucy and Meg, and Mike Williams, his old high school nemesis, who has his sights set on the Bennett girls.
Life becomes a little more complicated for them all. This short 100, 000 word, 250 page work of romantic fiction, incorporating social observation, humour and drama, is primarily told from the perspectives of protagonists Will and Beth, as they to get their lives in order and keep their careers on track.
