Her name was Aurore

Léo, 33, wakes up in the hospital after a serious car accident. He has lost his memory. The faces around him are foreign, his past is nothing but a black hole... except for one name that constantly echoes in his head: Aurore. No one around him knows this woman. Not his family, not his friends, not even his doctors. Yet, Léo is convinced she exists. In his dreams, he sees fragments: red hair, a laugh by the sea, the scent of rain.
Everything compels him to find her. At the same time, Aurore, 29, lives in Nantes. She suffers from a rare form of progressive retrograde amnesia: every day, part of her memories fades, like a book being burned, page by page. She keeps a diary to avoid getting lost: a notebook where she notes faces, places, and... a name she doesn't understand: Léo. When Léo, driven by his obsession, finally finds Aurore, the encounter is overwhelming.
She looks at him without recognizing him. Yet, a strange emotion crosses her eyes, as if her body still remembers him. Léo decides to stay with her, without revealing the whole truth, to try to revive her memories and rebuild their lost love. But the closer he gets to her, the more he discovers that his own past is not as pure as he thought. Found letters, torn photos, a hidden ring, a family secret.
And above all: the accident that started it all may not have been a simple coincidence... As Aurore's memory fades, Léo rebuilds his own. Two lives intersect in the fog of oblivion, two hearts trying to love each other despite the disappearance of the past. But when the truth resurfaces, Leo must make a heartbreaking choice: remind her who he is, at the risk of losing her forever, or let her live in his foggy world, where he remains, to her, a complete stranger.
