Résumé

A heartbroken American woman. A guarded Irish farmer. And a rain-soaked Irish road that changes everything. Meghan Doogan fled to Ireland after her fiancé publicly ended their six-year relationship. Arriving in County Galway with a shattered heart and a suitcase full of pink, she's beginning to realize she built her entire future around a man who never truly loved her. For three years, Seamus Cairney has kept his world small.
The family sheep farm is his refuge, and he has no intention of letting anyone close enough to hurt him again. But when a flat tire strands the American lass at his farmhouse, she's the last complication he needs. His mam has other ideas. Somewhere between muddy farm chores and rain-soaked hillsides, two people who swore off love build something neither expected. But with the end of Meghan's vacation looming, time is running out.
Karen Baney is a member of Faith Hope & Love Christian Writers and the author of over 30 Christian contemporary cowboy romances and historical romances. She writes faith-laced stories where characters feel like lifelong friends-flawed individuals navigating second chances, redemption, and personal trials. As a transplant to Arizona, Karen loves researching the state's rich history and seamlessly weaving real settings and historical details into her novels.
In addition to writing and speaking, Karen works as a Software Development Manager for a Christian ministry. Her faith plays an important role both in her life and in her writing. Karen and her husband, Jim, make their home in Gilbert, Arizona, with their two dogs, Bella and Daisy.
