Résumé

Frank Carvale is arrogant, ambitious, and willing to do anything it takes to get ahead. He's clever, too, but maybe not as clever as he thinks. A chance meeting with a magnate in Hong Kong could either be the big break he needs-or the biggest mistake of his life. A financial thriller set at the heart of the international economic crisis.

À propos des auteurs

Philippe Sabbah graduated from business school in Paris in 1988, and spent ten years working in trading rooms across the world, from Madrid to Hong Kong. In 1999, he opened the Zurich office of Crédit Agricole Asset Management, before joining JP Morgan. He would go on to supervise investments for institutional clients for seven years, before leaving to develop the French branch of Threadneedle Investments.
A few years later, he switched gears again to start his own company as a financial advisor. His deep personal experience and detailed understanding of financial markets form the backbone of the series "Hedge Fund" (Le Lombard; Europe Comics in English), a financial thriller created alongside Tristan Roulot and Patrick Hénaff. Tristan Roulot is a French journalist and scriptwriter, born in Rennes in 1975.
After obtaining a Master's degree in law, he left the judicial sector to devote himself to comics. He started his scriptwriting career with the humorous series "Goblin's" (Soleil), illustrated by Corentin Martinage, which has become a great commercial success, with more than 200, 000 copies sold. In Canada he met Patrick Hénaff, with whom he created "Le Testament du Capitaine Crown" (Soleil), a dark and violent two-part thriller.
The pair later joined with Philippe Sabbah for "Hedge Fund" (Le Lombard), a financial drama at five volumes and counting. Roulot has gone on to create "Irons" (Le Lombard, with Luc Brahy), set in Canada, as well as "Arale" (Dargaud, with Denis Rodier), which reimagines a Russia that never was, blending fact and dark fantasy into a spellbinding fable on the price of power. Both titles are available through Europe Comics.
