Because the Father uses many ways to speak to His children, we should be careful not to miss Him because the mode of delivery might not fit our theology, previous experiences, or our lack of experiences. There are "NOT GOD" voices, and then the Father's voice. The Father uses many ways to speak to His children. Embedded within the character of His Word, the Bible lies a ministry crafted to guide, illuminate, and enlighten the hearts and minds of believers.
Among the many responsibilities of the Bible, one of paramount significance is the sacred duty to illuminate the teachings and Person of our Lord Jesus Christ. To do so, we need to hear God's voice through His Word, the Bible. The Word of God dwells within us as a gentle, still voice, guiding us in remembrance of God's words and prompting us to discern divine opportunities woven into the fabric of our lives.
This divine presence is a constant companion, whispering wisdom and insight into our hearts, nudging us toward alignment with God's will and purpose. Those who are spiritually hard of hearing seem to be attuned to living life on a whim and what circumstances they face. They are tuned into the "NOT GOD" voices of the world. Hearing the Father's voice is a tool they have not added to their toolbox yet.
The Father loves nudging us along, speaking quietly to our hearts through the His Word, the Bible. The heavenly Father speaking to us quietly through gentle impressions, thoughts, or feelings can be rewarding and filled with ministry opportunities.
