Résumé

Miah fell in lust at first sight. That's what he told himself. All the evidence pointed to a far deeper and enduring feeling, but he wasn't ready for that. He wanted the hook-up and goodbye, not the boyfriend, the relationship and everything he'd been telling himself he didn't need. Asher, fresh out of the worst relationship of his life, wasn't ready for someone new. But he was willing to play the field.
Figure out what everyone, including his ex-boyfriend, found so appealing about it. Miah surprised him, and that made him even more attractive. But what did Asher need with another player when he wanted the husband, the dog and the white picket fence? Are they doomed to be out of synch forever?
Elizabeth Njogu used to scribble ideas and half-stories in an exercise book to learn what it took to write the books she loved to read. In 2003, she wrote her first 'real' story and there was no turning back. More than twenty years later, she finally chose to publish some of those stories.. She has amassed a delightful body of work that proves it is possible to take the ideas in her head and turn them into something real.
Writing has always been a source of joy in as many forms and genres as she could attempt. Most of this was done for an audience of one. In 2019, she embarked on a new journey to share her writing. As a writer and blogger, she has shared stories, opinions and her creative processes-including a few tips and tricks of the trade.
